The Full Slab in Third Lake, Illinois.

My BF and I went there and we were feening for some ribs. I didn't want to go to Famous Dave's because I wasn't going to drive all the way out there from Lindenhurst to Kenosha or Vernon Hills. We got there is was quite late around 8PM. We got there and the foyer of the place was dirty and unorganized. You can look directly into the kitchen straight ahead from the front door!! The POS systems and the greeting table were right in your face! That's not cool. There were at lease 20 patrons dining and they were terribly understaffed. James and I got finally seated in the "so-called" non-smoking section. There was a very fine line between the smoking section and the non-smoking section. The waitress seated us .... but, when we got to the table it was a MESS!! The floor was DIRTY AS HELL! And it was SO DARK where we sat!! That was so uncool. I gave them a chance so - so, I watched the waitress cleaned off the table and she miss a couple of spots ... so, I asked her to do it again. She finally got it right - after 3 attempts. [sighs] ... We finally sat down. Our waitress greeted us after 6 minutes. She took our drink order. I wanted sweet tea ... and James got regular water with lemon. It took her 8 minutes to get our drinks. Also, they were out of sweet tea ... I was starting to get angry. So, I asked for regular iced tea with lemon ... so she finally comes back with our water and iced tea WITHOUT LEMONS!!! OMGWTF!!! I'm like WHATEVER. So, we got an some BBQ chicken nachos as a starter ... THEY WERE COLD AND NASTY. I almost died. So, I ordered the BBQ chicken and rib platter ... it was also NASTY ... the bread that they served was STORE BOUGHT ... the chicken was cold, the ribs were cold ... the BBQ sauce was cold and you can see the fat in it ... OMG!! James got a BBQ chicken sandwich ... it was NASTY ... James mention that the bathrooms were not finished the urinal was literally next to the door and it needed some paint. The water pressure in the sink was very low and the lighting was hardly even there. I gave them one last chance - I ordered a piece of pecan pie ... which is supposed to be served warm and served with vanilla ice cream ... I got it, but it was BURNING HOT WITHOUT ICE CREAM ... I was so pissed off that I was going to walk out of the place - but, I paid and left ZERO TIP ... we will never eat there again!! END
