    MrsF's birthday is this weekend, and she's sure there was something new or exciting that we missed in Evanston.

    What could I be missing?

    It isn't La Petite Amelia... I know about that one.

    I heard from a friend that Quince (in the old Trio space) is very good and comparatively reasonable price-wise. Sorry I can't recall what they had, but I do recall that wine flights are offered. No actual quince on the menu, though.

    We ate there right before Christmas. Pleasant space, attentive staff and good food. The wedge salad was good, I had the squab and my husband had the skate wing. I would go back.
