Foodie emergency!

Hi -

I'm having lunch with an old friend tomorrow (Monday, April 16th) and need some recommendations.

The catch: he lives in Beverly and I'm in Albany Park. Other issues: covenient parking (my knees) and moderate price (though not necessarily cheap). I think he's open in terms of ethnicity (I love anything) though I've only been to Italian places with him. A place with great salads would be excellent....but right now, any good idea will be welcome!

Where can the south and the north meet? Somewhere west of the loop or a little south or north would be great.

Chinatown probably would be your best bet, minus your salad suggestion.

Chinatown and Pilsen are both good choices, but if you want a salad and good parking, hit up Greektown. I prefer Santorini, but there aren't many bad options there.

And, of course, there's always Manny's.
