birthday dinner rec's

Hello all,
My newish boyfriend is taking me out to dinner for my birthday, and I thought maybe I could turn to you guys for a recommendation. I want to go somewhere nice, but would not feel comfortable asking to be taken to alinea or tru. So think posh, but not outrageous...

Last week, I took my lady-friend to Oceanique for her birthday; some have called it the finest seafood restaurant in Chicagoland. It hasn't gotten much LTH love, and I didn't take sufficient notes to write up the meal (I was concentrating on the birthday celebration), but it's a great destination if you're into seafood with a contemporary/French accent.

It went over very well.
