I'm headed to Green Zebra tonight for my girlfriend's birthday. Does anyone have any must have dishes? Hearts of Palm salad seems to be a perennial favorite. I'll post tomorrow with results.

Perennial? But they've only been open for a couple months. :D

Here's a good thread from eGullet on Zebra. Please let us know how your meal was. I'm hoping to head there soon.

My husband and I ate at Green Zebra for the first time two weeks ago. I concur that the hearts of palm salad is worth trying. I also really enjoyed the roasted organic beets salad. The big winner, for us anyway, was the sweet potato and ginger dumplings. Something about the broth and the combination of flavors immediately reminded both of us of the time we spent living (and eating) in Taiwan. Amazing trigger of a food memory.

I vote the fennel risotto cake. Link below from a recent visit.
