Need help planning a dinner for 8

I will be 40 next month, and my husband is planning a dinner for eight of us. We want a medium price point ($50 per person with alcohol). I really like seasonal American cuisine. So far we've come up with Erwin and Sage Grille. Any other suggestions or thoughts?
