I've been there a couple times, but not in the last year or so.
It's decent ordinary-Mex food. The soup they serve with entrees is darned good, but there isn't anything on the menu that can't be had cheaper or better at a taqueria, except that you're getting real table service.
Certainly not a place I'd avoid, and better food than a Chi-Chis or Chevys. Don't drive a half-hour to get there, but you can certainly enjoy yourself.
