SUGAR Desert Bar still open?

Hello,

I am new to your forum and had a question if anybody knew if SUGAR Desert Bar was still open? There is no answer on their phone#.

Also wondered if anybody had other suggestions for late night desert stops?

Sugar is definitely closed. I believe the successor at the space (108 W. Kinzie) is La Pomme Rouge.

I remember reading somewhere that they burned down, but I could be wrong.

Hot Chocalate in Bucktown is open late and has great deserts.

Caramel (on North Ave.) burnt itself out some time ago

Thanks for the link to MumonA's post. I've never felt such kinship and camaraderie to a person based on a single sentence:
