    HI,

I fall into the camp of those who like Penguin. I always ask what was made that day, then select from those. Though recently I came and none were freshly made, then my tongue slipped, "You mean these are all old ice creams?" If only I could eat my words sometimes.

I am convinced Penguin needs some assistance on how to maintain temperatures in their long term freezer. I've seen them come with a container from the rear, which they could hardly dig into. I think they store their ice creams at colder temperatures than necessary. Whereas Robert at Miami Flavors keeps his ice creams at such a high temperature intentionally they melt too fast.

I have had Penguin's pizza on two occasions. It is not precisely my taste though I wouldn't shy away from it either. Most of the clientelle eating-in seem to be Argentinians, who seem very pleased. I chatted up a guy one evening who said their pizza was similar to what they get in Argentina. As we have stated many times before, we tend to love our hometown pizza (burger, etc) and compare everything to it. Otherwise we would not have those overly long threads of people defending their favorite pizza style, right?
