I am thinking of going to Brockway Chophouse in Palatine tonight - has anyone been there?

    Bisque,

I haven't been to Brockway, but I love the fact they feel the need to have a "Brockway Girl" featured on the website. In addition to the "Brockway Girl" they seem not to have missed a trick, in-house brewery, Martini Lounge where you can "swoon to the sounds of Sinatra," Al Fresco dining, Celebrity Wall of Fame and the now ubiquitous upscale steakhouse money-maker Seafood Tower.

I'd suggest high hopes tempered with realistic expectations. Looking forward to your follow up on Brockway.

    Enjoy,
    Gary

All I can think of when I heard the name of this place:

"I've sold monorails to Brockway, Ogdenville, and North Haverbrook, and by gum, it put them on the map!"

I currently live in Palatine and the Brockway Chophouse is where my wife and I go when we want to go for drinks. We hardly eat there anymore though as the food is just not good enough for the money.

And although the managers mean well, they are really snobbish and think they are always right. It's really aggrevating.

The bartenders are really good and make the best drinks in Palatine, which is why we'll stop there for a nightcap, as it's close to home.

The food is okay but if food is our focus, we prefer Wildfire. That should tell you a lot.
