LTH,
I have been trying to figure out the name of an old pizza joint that sat on the corner of Racine & Wolfram. It has probably been 15-18 years since this place shut down and I just havent been able to remember the name or find anyone else in the neighborhood that can remember it either.
All I remember was this place was real old school (the same building now is a house) and they served extra-thin Chicago-style...the reason to this day I only like extra-thin pizza. Its one of my oldest food memories, I LOVED the cracker crisp sausage pizza they made, cut Chicago style.
Back then that little area was quite the food corner, Fazzio's sat where the gino's east is at 2801 N. Lincoln. Fazzio's, before moving down the block to where Calliope cafe used to be, had great beef and the best fries and lemonade I can remember to this day. Both are long gone.
