This is another spot that was visited and posted on at the West Chicago Taco Crawl, but subsequent events have convinced me that it also deserves its own thread.

These guys make a mean fish taco.

Crisp breaded and fried fillets, chopped quite finely, cilantro, onion and pico de gallo (this is not a Baja-style fish taco) on a house made tortilla for a very fair price. I do not think that there is anything that special about any of the components - the fresh tortillas and pico de gallo are good, the cilantro and onions fresh, and the little nuggets of fish are cooked perfectly and hacked to bits creating a winning juxtaposition of sweet, flaky fish with crunchy breading and fresh, spicy garnish.

I have found the other offerings I have sampled there to be good, but not outstanding in any way, so I am stuck on the fish tacos for now.

They also have one or two other locations, but I have not checked them out. Photos one of these days, I promise.

I went there a few times and had to stop going because every time I ordered something there, it was insanely greasy. I usually ordered steak items and their steak is obviously griddle-cooked and not drained very well. I just can't stomach another trip back to try out the fish tacos

So my warning is thus: go for the fish, stay away from the steak tacos/burritos/whatever.
