Horner Park is close to the Lincoln Square neighborhood (head east on Montrose for about a half mile to Lincoln Avenue). There are many good restaurants in Lincoln Square. Go to google and type "site:lthforum.com Lincoln Square".
I recommend Tallulah:

viewtopic.php?f=14&t=475&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=0Both are moderately upscale and both have great outdoor dining areas, should the weather cooperate.
You will also be very close to many excellent Thai restaurants, including Spoon Thai and Sticky Rice (both are
GNR award winners).
Horner Park is a reasonably short drive to many other great neighborhoods, including Roscoe Village, Andersonville, and Lake View. If there are other types of food you are interested in, let us know.
