I'm going to be going downtown tomorrow to get a brisket at Excel (thanks for the tip, Gary) and then we will probably go out for lunch. I know that tomorrow will probably be the busiest day of the year downtown but I was thinking of taking my 84 year old father to Lawry's for their sandwich bar. He likes more traditional, old school faire so I thought that this could be a good choice. What I would like to know though, are there other places that we should consider? He can't stand or walk for long periods of time but other than that, he is pretty flexible?

So tell me, what do you think.

Any of the steakhouses. If I had to pick just one, maybe David Burke's Primehouse.

I think your idea of going to Lawry's is right on the money.

Great roast beef sandwiches, a city type atmosphere. Stick with your first thought.
