Thoughts on MK

planning on going to MK, is it worth it, what is the food and the whole experience like? Maybe there have been past threads on this

I really, truly enjoyed the one time 2 years ago I dined there. The food and desserts were excellent (although not sure if the pastry chef is still there as she's planning on opening her own place soon). I still remember a white fish crusted with hazelnuts, and I'm usually not all that great at remembering that sort of thing.

The one drawback for me was the frenetic rushing around of the staff. I did not feel rushed, but they sure did, and it added a vibe to the place that was a little too adrenaline-filled. Still, I'd go back.

Any recent thoughts on MK?

Last week's Check Please made it look quite good.

They have always had and continue to have an excellent liver preparation on the menu. Beef liver, my personal favorite, cooked to melty mouthed perfection drizzled with balsamic vinegar. Accompanied by the usual suspects. Ah, humanity.
