Tru for Mother's Day

Ok, this is super late but better than never.

Had Mother's Day brunch at Tru and I'll tell ya, it was quite amazing to be in such a great restaurant and have my 4 year old and 9month old (at the time) with me and my wife. Service was great, food was amazing (especially considering they never do brunch) and Gale Gand even took our 9 month old with her for a walk so we can eat in peace! Even got a kitchen tour, which made me realize that the kitchen table is perfect to bring a family with kids in on a regular night, it's so enclosed.

Everything was great, but I'll leave this post with one thing "gold flaked egg yolk!"
