Maiden visit the other night, and a strong B+. Fresh and well-varietied bread service. Heirloom tomato salad with crisp frisee and appropriately tangy vinagrette, a satisfyingly rich peeky toe crab cake appetizer, beef tenderloin cooked right to specification atop cleanly garlicked spinach leaves, and rich and creamy (not overly so) mushroom risotto. No vacancy for dessert. Service was on the mark and the environment conducive to conversation. Fairly sparse crowd though so am curious as to health of the business.

I was there on Friday night. Solid B+ for me too. We decided that the food is really quite good, and everything we had was done to perfection, it's just that the menu doesn't have any changes. It's boring, nothing with a Wow factor at all. But, what they do make is lovely. I had the scallops and they were seared perfectly, the salad and crab cake delicious, but really, where is the creativity? The service was Ok, but the bartender had to bring our drinks to us because the server was chatting it up with someone near the kitchen. I think they are so used to being bored there, she wasn't paying attention. The crowd was sparse.
