Post #2 - October 20th, 2009, 11:02 amLa Sabre - right at the corner of Montrose and Damen. Glenn's Diner, a couple of blocks east, by the "El" tracks. Two options that come to mind quickly. "Great," like "Beauty" is in the eye of the beholder.

I've heard great things but have yet to make it up to Over Easy, just a bit north.

Post #5 - October 20th, 2009, 4:10 pmBeans and Bagels - on Montrose right by the L, has decent bagels and croissants, and serves Metropolis coffee (although I'd say it's weaker than at Metropolis, they don't charge much for extra shots.)
