I couldn't find any posts on this restaurant that I went to for the first time last night. I'm told they serve Iraqi-style Middle Eastern cuisine.
Overall, I liked the food. The high points were the baba ganouj and the very flavorful chicken kabob. The negatives were that they only brought two small loaves of pita with the baba (and they weren't heated at all), and my friend's iced tea was basically slightly discolored water without much identifiable flavor. The entrees came with a nice Jerusalem salad with a pleasant dressing.
The service was pleasant, although the place was nearly empty so it's hard to judge. The decor is OK. They have brick walls (some real and some fake) with hardwood floors. The cafeteria-style chairs detract a bit. There's a 60 inch plasma TV running Arab music videos, which I thought was a plus, although some might find it distracting.
Since it's very close to me, I'm sure I'll be back.
