Sunday Late lunch/Early dinner

I am looking for a place to have a late lunch/early dinner on a Sunday about 2 weeks from now. It's my birthday weekend and a friend from out of town has to leave for the airport about 6:30pm, but I want her to join the fam for a celabratory meal. Most places start dinner service at 5pm or 5:30, which would make me stress too much. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a spot that would serve at 4pm or 4:30? I'm open to any cuisine except Italian (too much of it lately).

Avec is my favorite place to eat at 4pm on Sundays, and it's not far from trains that could take your friend to either airport. It should work assuming your group isn't too big.

Met up with a high school buddy last Sunday at Miller's Pub; a classic place, not fancy, somewhat muffled so good for conversing with ancient amigos...and they start serving every day at 11AM (very close to El for airport transport).
