I love making burgers but I always feel that the buns I get at the gocery store don't match up to the rest of my ingredients. Does anyon know of a bkery where Ican get some really good burger buns? Brioche would be nice or anything better than the grocery store variety. Thanks!

Trader Joe's has an excellent brioche hamburger bun. We are totally addicted to it!

A second for Jarosch Bakery. When I worked in Elk Grove Village I was a regular. I still make the drive once in a while for a birthday cake. High quality and great selection.

Have you tried their burger buns? Deerfields near me has good pastry and cakes, but the buns I bought were not tht great.

LaBriola's pretzel buns are always great. Caputo's carries them.

If Bensenville isn't too far, you should consider Andresen's Bakery. I haven't tried their rolls but I thought their bread at a recent sauerkraut supper was excellent, leading me to believe they might also do well in a smaller format. Their desserts at the same event were a mixed bag, for whatever that's worth.

Is that Angelo or Joseph? I'll have to look into breads at Jarosch. I remember looking at their cake prices :) I settled for a couple of frogs.

I've only seen LaBriola breads at Joe Caputo's.
