please help. Looking for recommendations that are purple pig esque, but without communal dining aspect. Looking for a place in river north/downtown/old town that takes reservations? I've read posts about Old town social as very mixed. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

My wife, her sisters and mother went to Quartino, for apres theater -- not wanting to trust PP's no-rez situation. They were very happy. Italian small plates, very tasty.What is patriotism, but the love of good things we ate in our childhood?
