Planning a birthday dinner for wife with friends

Hello people,
I'm in need of your reccomendations here because Im planning for a birthday dinner for my wife. I am going to invite all our cousins and close friends so there will be around 15 to 20 people between the ages of 25-35. I probably wont need a private room or anything. Just looking for a nice restaurant perhaps in the city or the northwest suburbs. I live in streamwood area so we ve been to all the Schaumburg dinner restaurants/clubs here in this area (Entourage, john barleycorn etc.). So I would probaby prefer some place new that I can invite everyone to which has similar concept as john barleycorn where we can have nice dinner and have fun at the club afterwards. The club for after hours doesnt have to be in the same restaurant but I would prefer someplace near that maybe we can walk up to. I was thinking of Cafe Lucci in Glenview but I have never been there so I dont know what to expect and I dont think there are any clubs we can go to near by..

Steakhouses, Italian, Sushi etc any kind of food would go I guess. As long as the food is good and the place is alive and happening on Saturday nights. Kinda like Tavern on Rush kinda atmosphere.. I m sure you get the idea... Help me out here guys

Also my sister in-law thinks I cant plan this birthday thing by myself without her help even if my life depended on it so plz .. I have to impress these people with the restaurant I pick and the club afterwards lol.

Shaw's Crab House in Schaumburg would be my suggestion. If you want, a private room upstairs could be requested for a group your size. Otherwise, their dining room could handle a group your size easily.
