I took advantage of Groupon's dollar menu, forgetting that I made beef stew for the weekend. :x Unfortunately, even with this Groupon deal, the place was dead. I got the impression that they're a nightclub after hours, because of the layout of the ceiling, small track lights, and neon lights over the very long bar. I hope they get more business at night, because there were a total of three people eating there, and that includes me. Perhaps it was due to the ABBA blasting, which would be enough to drive anyone out. I had a Wat Tyler album in the car; I was about to run out and get it.

I received a plate of warm bread (not sure, could have been naan) and an assortment of accoutrements: cukes, tomatoes (really nice ones too), a small block of feta and exactly four walnuts drizzled with oil to nibble on while I waited. I ordered the Salmon Plate. The dish was mostly dill rice, but there were some fat cubes of blackened salmon, blackened tomato halves that were really yummy. The rice was cooked perfectly. It's not a place I'll hurry to get back to, but it's nice to know there's another good Middle Eastern option near work.

I'll have to stop by and see what Doostan ice cream tastes like.

Disclaimer: My cell phone is being repaired, so I can't call Doostan at the moment.

When would their hours of operation be?
