Linz & Vail changes

The staff of my office are pretty loyal visitors to Linz & Vail--during the summer, we go out for gelato at least once a week, much more if any staff are pregnant. The cold February kept us away for a while, but we went yesterday and noticed a few changes that we weren't thrilled about.

1) There seem to be selling a lot more candy. I don't know if this is because of Easter, and it doesn't matter all that much, but it seemed to change the mood in there.

2) They took away the edible cups! It's not even an option! The cone-cups have been replaced with smaller white plastic cups--not good for the environment or for the value (see #3).

3) They've hiked up their prices about 50 cents. I think I paid $3.97 for a single adult serving yesterday. Almost $4 for an afternoon treat? That's not going to be sustainable for me. I hope the price increase isn't so that they can pay the rent on their new Central St. location!
