Green Basil - Downtown Naperville

I had a quick afternoon snack at Green Basil. It's a new Vietnamese restaurant in downtown Naperville. The owner/chef use to be the head Chef at (Michelin Guide recommended) Sawtooth in Chicago. I had the Muc Rang Muoi. It is a crispy calamari tossed with scallions and garlic. I thought it was well prepared and the flavors were spot on. I also enjoyed the Chicken wings which were the daily special. They are fried with a sweet/spicy sauce. I had them before at Sawtooth. The wings were perfectly cooked and the sauce rose to the occasion.
