New to this site, i'm an irregular visitor to Chowhound and Roadfood. This site was recommended by a couple folks from here who saw my post on those boards.
I am very excited to be headed to Chicago for the holidays. Nearly 200 places on my list to prioritize for check out (so much food, so little stomach). I try to hit 6 to 8 places in a day and sample places and items featured on TV food shows, especially DDD & BTIEA, collecting lots of left overs along the way. It certainly helps to have at least one partner to share with and the woman will only put up with so much of that. So I am looking for anyone who would be interested in joining in. I'm up for anything from hot dog stands to fine dining and with such a long list can be pretty flexible. Not sure which days I'll be chowing down but there should be several between the 21st when we arrive and our departure on the 28th. Staying on the north side but plan to roam all over town. PM me or just respond here.
    TIA

My recommendation would be to try and set up some sort of event for a food crawl on the forum under the events calendar board.

Good call. Depending when it occurs, it sounds like a fun event, and I'd like to attend. Here is a link to the Tips and Guidelines for Event Planners and Attendees.
