Thanks to Nickey V posting about his place and his background in the Professional section of this forum. I like Vito & Nicks Pulaski location, I liked their Lemont location @ the bowling alley which closed down. Glad to see Nickey V pop up in Romeoville at Leo's Bar. Nice guy, chatted with him for a while. I wish him luck.

Met up with a couple friends last night to give them a shot, Leo's is a bar first, at the back of the bar is a set of windows looking into the kitchen and the pizza ovens. Bar seating and a few high tops are it. Basic menu, some apps(mushrooms, cheese sticks, etc). 2 sizes of pizza 12" & 14", maybe 8 ingredients offered. Went with 2 - 14" (1) Sausage and 1/2 hot giardineria, (1) sausage and mushroom with 1/2 hot giardineria. Sausage pizza came out first. We asked for a welldone/extra crispy, this one came out with little char, but a very good pizza. Crust might be a milimeter thicker than Pulaski, but it is good, crisp and airy. Sausage and mushroom came out next, char, deep color on the mozz. Nice..
Nickey said he is still working on perfecting the ovens he is using, but he has the V & N recipe down.
I got a new camera Im still learning to use, only got 1 good(average) pic of the pizza

I can see hitting Nickey V's for a beer and pizza often.
