This is the best vegetarian/kosher pizza I have ever had! Have gone twice - carryout the second day they were open and Motzei Shabbos and have tried four of their pizzas - cheese, "italian sausage", "pepperoni". and pineapple, onion and "BBQ chicken". All were excellent - the "BBQ Chicken" sounds odd but it was great!

Spoke to the owner on how they developed their pizza recipes - she said that she relies on non-kosher taste testers to get her recipes as close to the traif variety all I can say is it is delicious!

Now the rough parts - they have been only open a week so they are still getting their service legs under them - but everyone is pleasant - even when the place is packed.

They still have not printed menus yet so the wait staff recites the pizza menu - hopefully this will be corrected soon.

Be aware this place is kosher so it will close early on friday and not be open saturday -

It was formerly known as Malibu Pizza.

Since it's kosher & dairy - you won't find meat on anything on the menu.

I wonder if there are any kosher pizza restaurants with real meats but non-dairy cheese substitute, so it's fleishig not milchig. :?:

The problem is the non-dairy kosher cheeses - they pale in comparison to real cheese while the fake meats can be quite close to the real things in taste and consistency

According to Jakob Da Jew, whose entertaining 2008 NYC based blog entry "Frummie Motzei Shabbos Syndrome: Where my Pizza at? " indicates NYC has dozens of Kosher pizza "stores" to choose from, . There were a few fleishig pizza joints, but they only lasted about 6 months, including one in Canada in the 70's. Their short lives were probably because by the time Motzei Shabbos rolls around, most people who keep kosher have eaten so much Fleisch, that the last thing they want is more meat. However, interestingly, one of the best Pizzas enjoyed by Frummies and non-frummies, tourists and natives alike is a Fleishig Kosher Pizza served in Rome. If I ever do a pizza tour of Italy, it will be on the list. It has no imitation cheese, just really good crust and sauce, which shows (at least to me) that anyone can melt 4 cheeses on their pizza, but it still can't hide the most important parts, the crust and the sauce.

Went again and still amazed by the food - I keep kosher and after trying the cheeseburger calzone I have to say if this is what a cheeseburger tastes like I know understand why people lik ethem so much - it was excellent.

I highly recommend this place for some interesting and creative dishes.
