This past Friday I went to get coffee at my usual coffee joint on Lincoln, The Grind, and I walked past Anatolian Kabob with all signage indicating that they were not closing.

Yesterday, as I got coffee, I noticed that Anatolian Kabob was no more. In the AK space is now a restaurant called Candle Lights: Waigh International. New awning, same BYOB signage as before. Does anyone have any details on this? AK has long been one of my favorite places to eat on Lincoln Avenue and I'm wondering how there could have been such a quick and abrupt change over three days! Also, does anyone have any idea what Waigh International means?!?

While walking home from the Apple Fest last Saturday, we paused in front of what was Anatolian Kebab and looked at the menu. My wife noticed that the prices seemed higher but that the menu was about the same otherwise. Then we noticed that on a little sign in the window and on the menu were the terms "Candle Lights" and "Candles Light". Wife went in to ask about carry-out menu and was told they didn't have carry-out yet. On asking when the change happened, she was told about two months ago. As of Saturday afternoon, the old awning was still in place although the URL on the awning was dead.
