In the food desert Western Suburbs, finding true BBQ can be very elusive. Smoke Ringz BBQ made its debut about a year ago and has taken competition such as Dickey's to the woodshed (pun intended).
Housed in the former Butler's BBQ site on Geneva Rd, Somke Ringz serves up some of the tastiest brisket and pulled pork. Ribs and rib tips, smoked chicken wings with several types of sauces, and occasionally smoked pork loin are also pitmaster quality. The pit beans are very good and their seasoned fries (you pick the type of seasoning) make great companions to the bbq. My only complaint is that drink selections are a bit limited. Roger and Tim are really excited about what they do and it shows in their food. They make you feel welcome and will always take the time to answer your bbq questions too.
Great bbq, the smell of hickory smoke in the air and blues on the airwaves.....what more could you ask for?
