Aside from, or in addition to, the obvious?

    Lincoln Square

    Pannekoeken

    Gather (weekend brunch only)

And those are just my regulars.

Oh, and not horribly out of the way of either Andersonville or Lincoln Square (in my book, anyway):

As an aside, and in reference to the subject line, when ISN'T breakfast worth the bother?? I can eat break fast 3x a day (and occasionally do). It's a meal without rules (and a meal that rules). I'd go out for breakfast every day, if I had the time.

Breakfast: The food is great, the timing sucks.

Excellent choice also. However, as a caveat, they're vegetarian. Not an issue for me but we went with a couple once and the husband was very upset that there was no meat.

I've found that what they do with seitan (?) is a pretty decent approximation of the bacon or sausage that you might otherwise be craving.
