I am a big fan of Sushi Mike's in Andersonville and I've tried the new Randolph location twice. Both visits I sat smack dab in front of Mike at the sushi bar and had his incredible special rolls! I always feel in very good hands with Mike and enjoy his creations. I especially like his take on fish and chips. Ask him what he got at the fish market. Tell him what you like. He does great sauces, spicy, some with truffled honey, some even with surprises like oregano or rosemary! The space is considerably larger than Andersonville and it's a really beautifully finished space, bright and elegant. I found parking at Lake and Halsted the first visit but then I found free parking on my second visit at Randolph and Sangamon St. a little bit of a walk but like I said, free parking... and what Chicagoan doesn't love avoiding those PESKY parking meters. I should also add, I have sent friends there and gotten rave reviews from them as well so... I hope you enjoy!
