Three Chefs Restaurant

Today I visited Three Chefs Restaurant in Auburn Gresham neighborhood. This article in the Red Eye with mentions of excellent gumbo and biscuits piqued my interest.

I carried out a large order of gumbo with two biscuits. [[$9.00] The gumbo came with a flavorful dark roux with plentiful pieces of chicken sausage and shrimp. Multicolored bell peppers and rice rounded out the delicious bowl which in my opinion is definitely worth the trip.

The biscuits [two for $1.50] were large and fluffy with an inviting buttery aroma. Spread with some jam at home, they were truly excellent. Moist and fresh and presumably made to order considering I carried out my order when they were closing for the day. Best biscuits I can recall having in recent memory. I look forward to exploring some more of the menu.
