    Does anyone know of a good place to pick up fresh mini bagels in the city? If they also have lox, that's a plus.

    Not quite in the city (but only a couple of blocks away), GNR New York Bagels & Bialy. Open 24/7 for your bagel buying pleasure.

    These are the best you will find but be forewarned that they aren't really that small. Theyr'e about 2/3 the size of their regular bagels. And I think they only come in plain.

    Some of my favorite bagels in the city and Im positive they have mini ones

    Kaufman's carries "baby bagels", too.

    NYC Bagel Deli on State St., too. Usually have about a dozen in the afternoon, mixed varieties.

    If you call ahead you can get mini bagels from NY Bagel & Bialy in just about any variety. We routinely get mini-whole wheat-mish-mosh, mini-whole-wheat-sesame, etc.
