We ate at MFK recently and had a great meal. You could easily miss this cute little spot. I had driven by many times and never noticed it. About a month ago, we joined friends at Bar Biscay on Chicago (same owners) and loved it and decided to try this sister restaurant.
MFK features Spanish-inspired plates (small, medium and large sized). I'm no expert in Spanish cuisine so I have no clue about how closely the food at MFK hews towards traditional dishes but everything was delicious.
Highlights included the boquerones (marinated white anchovies), croquettes with manchego and ham (sounds pedestrian but these were incredible), fideos with prawns and mussels and a lamb special (very simple flavors but excellent preparation). Also, the almond-y Basque cake was phenomenal (my spouse asked for a whole cake as a birthday cake and they actually apparently sell whole cakes with advance notice). They have a nice selection of wines by the glass. This was a lovely spot for a fall dinner.
I plan to post on Bar Biscay later--I didn't take good notes and the menu has changed for fall . I guess we'll have to go back

but highly recommend this place as well.
