Now that we are in the death throes of winter, I'm being slightly more ambitious with my lunch selection. I'm really glad that Blackwood BBQ is so close to my office, because their fatty brisket is second to none in Chicago, IMHO.
Also, this week they are doing a Reu-Be-Cue special: it's corned beef brisket on a marble rye bun with a special sauce and pickles. The special sauce seems to be a blend of their South Carolina and Alabama style sauces. It was a good sandwich, but the corned beef cure wasn't overpowering.
