Places you would like to try in 2019 but haven’t yet.

Below are some places I would like to try but haven’t yet. If anyone has been to any of the below (or would like to try as well) or would like to add their own places they would like to visit but haven’t yet please reply.

Lollipop Chicken Wings in Mount Prospect looks to be another Korean chicken wing place like those served at (Great Sea, Bonchon, Crisp, Dak, Landbirds, Great Beijing, Joong Boo Market, etc...).

Egg-A-Holic, An Indian street food restaurant based on Egg dishes. Looks like there are 2 location (Schaumburg and newly opened in River West in Chicago). This Thread by Ronnie_Suburban peaked my interest and I would like to take a visit to Egg-A-Holic to try some unique Indian dishes I haven’t seen before in other Indian restaurants. viewtopic.php?f=14&t=44793

Papa Marcos Grill and Kabob in Waukegan was voted in Yelp's 'Top 100 Places to Eat for 2019' (at #57).

From looking at the menu, this restaurant looks to be similar to Pita Inn in offerings + some American offerings as well (BLT, Caesar Salad, etc...). Papa Marcos Grill and Kabob has 490 Yelp reviews at 5Star rating (and 506 Google reviews at a 5Star rating).

I agree on not paying attention to YELP ratings alone.. My curiosity is on why this fast casual restaurant is so popular in the first place. So for me a visit to this place is just for my own personal comparison to the standard Pita Inn.

I have passed this place in Waukegan multiple times. It has never been packed or looking extraordinarily busy. I have always seen available parking.

A friend from Waukegan called today to puzzle about this restaurant's being nationally highlighted. She only went in once to collect a menu. She didn't feel compelled to stay, so all this hoopla is a surprise. She also scanned the reviews to find few from Waukegan and many from out of town, like Washington, D.C., California, Kentucky and Oregon on the Yelp front page. She wondered if this was rigged.

We agreed to go soon to see what it is all about. If this attention creates others wondering and standing in line, too, well it may be while.

My wife and I dined at Papa Marcos a couple of years ago. We were in the area after seeing a play at Clockwise Theater (RIP).

As I recall, it was nothing special or out of the ordinary. Otherwise, I would have posted about in in LTH. I probably discovered it by doing a search for a restaurant in Urban Spoon.
