If it is not hot it is not Nashville Hot. It's just chicken with hot sauce.

I am sure the customers complaining could of gotten the sauce on the side or gone somewhere else. Now we all have to suffer.

Who else is serving a proper Nashville Hot? I haven't been to Pearl's lately. Last time there it was pretty good!

At The Budlong, we accommodate all all levels of heat lovers. Classic is tame, we call it "enjoyably spicy" and our hottest "Stupid Extra Crazy Hot" will certainly tame even the hottest taste buds.

Nashville Hot is not related to how spicy it is - it's more specific to the cayenne pepper/oil method used to season the chicken after frying. Most Nashville Hot places (that are Nashville hot specific) offer 1-5 layers of spicy from tame to XXX Hot...

Yeah, they definitely offer different heat settings at Prince's, Hatty B's, Bolton's, etc. in Nashville. Clearly, there's more to the style than it just being hot.

Tried this for the first time last week. Wife had a 1/4 dark of the least spiced and she loved it. I had the regular hot sandwich, it was alright. Chicken was good, seasoning a little bland and the slaw didn't have a ton of flavor and was too watery and made the sandwich a mess. Pickles were great. Mac n cheese was pretty good.
