The only report I find on Sociale was in a Coming/Going thread from 2015:
Sociale featuring Mediterranean shared dishes opened today at 800 South Clark from the Good Eats Group (Burger Bar Chicago, Sono Wood Fired).
Also now open next door from the same owners is Café Press, a small cafe featuring paninis, salads, and a deluxe selection of pastry, along with a coffee program by Sparrow Roastery.

https://www.facebook.com/socialechicagoFour years later Sociale is going strong. We were there for dinner this past weekend and found everything to be exceptional. I wouldn't exactly call it Mediterranean, the menu is much more eclectic. We began by sharing three starters/small plates. A mushroom leek dish, the lamb meatballs, and a plate of two crusted scallops. All there very tasty, the scallops were the hit of the night. We then shared a half chicken on recommendation from neighbors. It was beyond outstanding. The wines by the glass were fairly priced. The only quibble would be that the service was a little haphazard, but we were sitting outside so this may have had something to do with it. Dishes sat empty for awhile, water glasses weren't refilled after we were asked if we'd like more water, long pauses in service. But all in all a place worth trying out.
