We are going with some family and friends on Saturday. It's always a wonderful event with amazing food. Sorry we will miss you.

Can someone who’s been to the Feast before (the $45/head event,
not just dinner at Sun Wah around Chinese New Year) go into some detail about what you get for the $45? Some members of my potential group are scoffing at the cost, considering how much food you get there for half the price on any other day.

    Thanks!

These are not regular menu items but rather unusual foods and preparations. You get multiple courses of dishes that are meant to bring good luck, health, and prosperity for the new year, either by virtue of their ingredients or the symbolism of their names (that might sound like gold or wealth or the like). Kelly explains each course as it is served. Some dishes come from their home village, and some are created especially by her father for the occasion. The dishes are served family style for each table of 10. There is a large amount of food, and the feast is a bargain at $45 in my opinion. Adventurous eaters will enjoy it.
