Lunch near Leaning Tower Y 6300 Touhy?

Post #1 - March 14th, 2020, 11:47 amHi- I worked for the census for about five weeks starting last August. I did canvasing, checking to make sure that the info about the property was correct such as how many units in each building. I am going to work for them starting on Tuesday 3/17 when I go to a training session at the Y. I will then go door to door to visit people who have not filled out their census. I will start doing that some time in April. They are still hiring, and they are paying $29.50 an hour in Cook, DuPage and Lake counties. Go to census.gov to apply. PM me if you have any questions.
I was wondering if there are any good fairly inexpensive places to eat lunch near the Y at 6300 Touhy? The max I am willing to spend is $12. I would prefer something somewhat healthy. I love Panera bread. I am not sure how many days I am going to be there. I might just be there on 3/17, and do the rest of my training online, or I might be there for four days 3/17- 3/20. Some here are fans of the quickserve food windows at Costco but I don't know if you need a membership card to eat there. Right there is also Papa Chris' Place, which serves, hot dogs, burgers, gyros and Italian Beefs. If you're willing to venture out a bit further, Super Pitas is also nearby (0.9 miles from the Leaning Tower YMCA).

I recently read Costco changed its policy to no membership card, no access to food court/$1.50 hot dog/soda.
I'd add Boba Burger and the food kiosks at H-Mart to the mix.
