    The Walrus and the Carpenter
    Were walking close at hand;
They wept like anything to see
    Such quantities of sand:
"If this were only cleared away,"
They said, "it would be grand!"

So be it...final days in Chicago for me...where to spend a few heavenly evenings...

    Sweets & Savories?????
    Lula Cafe??????????????
    Think??????????????????
    Ed's???????????????????
    Lth????????????????????
    Kendall College????????

    Opinions please...I love it all

Buffalo gal Buffalo bound where spes-shull reports will be forthcoming...

Well, what's Buffalo lacking? That's what I'd make sure and eat before I left-- Indian, Mexican, Thai, whatever it is.

Didn't realize before I moved to the left coast those special things that from time to time you'll develop a great craving for, some examples: smoked chubs, paczki, good rye bread (scarcer then hen's teeth) serbian sausage to name a few. Then earlier this week in a thread I realized that smelt seasons was again upon us and I would not be able to indulge in those sweet morsels. Pick your favorite items that you'll not find where your moving to and dig in!!

Load up the calories at Pizzeria Uno's or Due's! You'll need a layer of fat underneath the skin to withstand the winters at Buffalo!

Skip Superdawg. There are better hot dogs to be had in the Buffalo area (and Chicago) than what Superdawg offers. Try Ted's in Tonawanda when you're in the Buffalo area.

Buffalo Gal, I feel your pain.
There are too many places, but try this and you leave less sad.

I would pick a place that you love that has some sentimental value. The food doesn't have to be the best but it should be some place where you can really relax, ponder the many good meals you've eaten in that place and enjoy yourself.
