    ______Don’t get me wrong, I KNOW BW3’s isn’t the best place for wings (Sully’s in Galesburg or Peoria IS!), but I was a HUGE fan of the Southwest sauce. A suburbanite by nature, I was happy to see that Buffalo Wild Wings debuted 4 new sauces recently. Unfortunately when I stopped by to try these, I found that one of my favorites, the Southwestern sauce, had been retired.
    _____I know that I shouldn’t be too upset, but that Parmesan-Garlic sauce has NO BUSINESS taking over a spot that the Southwestern sauce could have. We suburbanites have little outside of chain-restaurants often enough (and it is a real talent to find the non-chain restaurants in our area). Most times we have to deal with those or drive 30+ minutes to find different venues for food.
    _____With this in mind, it is detrimental to my wing palette to see the Southwestern sauce from Buffalo Wild Wings (which I used to drive half an hour to Wrigleyville to enjoy) gone. I would gladly sign a petition to bring it back. Anyone else enjoy this sauce, or did they retire it because no one cared?

    P.S. I have half a bottle in the fridge. Should I auction it on eBay? ;-)

    I feel for you...I was heartbroken to find out last night in chatting with a friend that they don't have Thai sauce anymore. As far as the 1/2 bottle of sauce, I don't think that I'd buy anyone's already opened foodstuff of any kind, but maybe someone else would.

    The problem with Buffalo Wild Wings is that they are really chincy on the sauce ... unless you want to pay the 0.50 for extra sauce ...

    When I have to eat there - to watch a game - I bring my OWN sauce.

    Don't they also charge if you want celery sticks? I thought celery was part of the buffalo wing order.

    50 cents for celery, 50 cents for sauce, 50 cents for blue cheese or ranch dressing, 50 cents for extra sauce ...

    buffalo wild wings is the pizza hut of its genre. not that good, but "ok" ... there are tons of places that have better wings than this joint. BWW is definetly not worthy of having the restaurant named after its wings...

    anyone from buffalo should be appalled at this place... charging for celery? i guess that means they also don't include carrots?

    BWW has been debated numerous times in other threads though (more specifically, a recent "buffalo wings?" thread).

    So has anyone tried Pizza Hut's entry into the wing genre - Wing Street?

    I was very sad when Hamburger Hamlet shut down. I used to go to the one in Vernon Hills and I thought they had the best wings: large, great crispy breading and a great buffalo hot sauce.

    I think Yak-Zies are the next best I've found, but nowhere near as good as HH's wings.

    BW3 used to be ok but I think they went downhill as the franchise expanded.

    _____I agree with all of you that BW3s has become (as another member said) "The Pizza Hut of wings". I even noted in my thread-starter that Buffalo Wild Wings isn't the best place for wings. There's just not a lot of choice for a western suburbanite in this genre of pub grub.
    _____I was more concerned about the loss of a decent sauce. I suddenly remembered one of my favorite copycat recipe web sites Top Secret Recipestried their hand and deconstructing several of their signature sauces. Would they have it?!!
    _____While you unfortunately have to purchase this recipe now (I am on their mailing list for debuts of "free" weekly recipes), they offer a version of Spicy Garlic (my fav), Medium, Hot, & Caribbean Jerk. You add that to the other 50 cent a la carte menu add-ons, and you've got some more angry customers. :wink:

    _____No I have not, and it appears not many others have either. I'd be interested, although I'm not a huge fan of Pizza Hut pizza anymore. I'll buy it for pizza parties in the classroom...but a good question none the less.

    Have you tried Dick's River Roadhouse in Mt. Prospect? Uneven-- and it's decorated to resemble a Joe's Crab Shack or something; I thought it was a chain-- but they are less expensive than BWW.
