Bridal shower lunch

I am looking for a place in the city to have a ladies bridal shower for my niece. We would like a place that has great salads and maybe some kind of fanfare or edge. I live in the north burbs and my niece is in Wicker Park so it could be anywhere between here and there! There could be up to 50 people so a private room may be necessary. Thanks!

Have you checked out the "supper club" menus of various restaurants? I believe these restaurants offer them where you can feed a good amount of people resonably and these locations may be able to accomodate your party:

For something other than chains, there is a plethora out there....depends if you're looking for a specific cuisine.
