Post #1 - May 18th, 2006, 9:12 pmI am looking for recs along the stretch of Lake Street in Melrose Park. I think it stretches towards River Forest. We've driven past them but wasn't sure which one to go to. TIA!

Post #2 - May 19th, 2006, 7:24 amCheck along Broadway near Lake. Los Tres Gallos is a favorite, featuring the dish that Pigmon boosted to internatinal acclaim: Carne en su jugo.
There's a lot of exploring to be done in this area.

Post #3 - May 19th, 2006, 7:59 amDefinitely check out Los Tres Gallos. The CESJ here is the only one I've tried where I felt it could be as good or BETTER than Los Gallos in Chicago. I tried their soup 3 times and I enjoyed it better each successive time.
If you live anywhere near Los Tres Gallos, don't overlook it.
