A good friend offered that the above is, according to her Thai friend, a great Thai restaurant. I'm an afficianado of Thai cuisine(not on the level of Erik M., perhaps...but, still) and haven't heard of this joint. Perusing Metromix, etc(and the online menu) doesn't inspire confidence. I, of course, first searched LTH; nada.

So...on the off-chance I might be roped into dining there how hard should I lobby for the known quantities...including, even, Opart/Rosded?

    Thanks.

I think you have to go there and try to get the most authentic Thai food you can talk them into giving you! Who knows? It could be an undiscovered gem, or at least have a couple of standout dishes. And if it isn't, still, it's a Thai restaurant, the odds of it totally sucking are pretty low.

The odds of it sucking are pretty low? Allow me to introduce you to Tiparos, Penang(Gold Coast), and Thai Lagoon(among others).

I just found out it's not just a Thai aquaintence's favorite but owned by the family. This gives me hope esp. if accompanied by said aquaintence.

This bit of news definitely peaks my interest so if I do dine there I'll report back.
