I'd recommend the West Egg Cafe. It's a good breakfast/lunch spot, pretty cheap, very quick service for people who don't want to take long work lunches. In terms of coffee shop fare, you pretty much can't go wrong there. Hash browns aren't shredded, though. They're in small cubes and are very serviceable, though by no means the best you'll ever have. Never had the corned beef hash.
