    Question:
Since we have to pick where to eat foie gras for the last time in chicago, where will you go? I'm looking for suggestions. Thanks.

Sory. No Foie available on Farwell. It's up here in Alderman Moore's territory.... 8)

Seriously, I want to re-visit the unbelievable fois mousse that I had on Thanksgiving at Aria at the Fairmont Hotel. OMG. Just.....no words. But do remember that it's just the city, not Cook County. We have some mighty fine establishments up here that will be dishing up the foie forever. Try Michael in Winnetka for the foie gras strudel with buttered rum fig sauce. Good eats. Heck, you can even pick up a lobe and go nuts on it yourself - hit Schaefer's wine shop/deli extaordinaire at the confluence of Wilmette, Skokie, and Evanston.

If money is no object, the foie tasting menu at Avenues is outstanding.

There are still two more foie gras tasting menus planned at Sweets & Savories - I believe on the 23rd and 24th - you'd have to call them. Although I was disgruntled by other stuff when I went there, the food is really excellent, and their tasting menus are relatively inexpensive (compared to others in town).

I guess I should have read this prior to posting in the other foi thread. When is the ban supposed to go into effect?
