I'm reminded of one of my favorite cartoons:

A sausage is standing on his front lawn, next to his open mailbox, and is reading the outside of a large envelope--probably from Publisher's Clearing House--which has the following bold message on it:

"You May Already be a Wiener...!"

    That's our Gary.

"If I have dined better than other men, it is because I stood on the shoulders of giants...and got the waiter's attention." --Sir Isaac "Ready to order NOW" Newton

"You worry too much. Eat some bacon... What? No, I got no idea if it'll make you feel better, I just made too much bacon." --Justin Halpern's dad

Well, the reign of "The Gary Wiviott" was short but memorable. The gyros sausage remains at Hot Doug's today, but under a new name (unknown to me).

I do have to say, it was quite delicious melding some of the best features of a hotdog and a gyro. The various Greek-owned gyro-hot dog stands that dot the city should take note.

Also, it went very well with Hot Doug's corned beef "Teuben".

    Best,
    Michael

    You win.

Me, I'll be waiting until Doug serves a kilometerwurst.
